     ❤MY MOTHER'S DAY MAKEUP PICK ❤

So as you know from my insta story, I went out yesterday with my mother to Dolmen Mall for shopping. So many brands had flattering Mother's day discounts going on and we thought " Why not avail them?".

I had promised myself "No more makeup" as I have a cousin's wedding coming up in August and I am saving money for some shopping. But then, How could I resist when Mum walked in Scentsation to purchase her favourite perfume? 😀

I tried so hard to not look at the makeup products, calling out my name loudly. I had almost succeeded ,when one of the salesgirl told me they had a 10% off on all the makeup as Mother's day Promotion. There flew all my resolve out of the window and I justified it to myself as saving money from the discount.😉😁

Funny right?😂

I have been meaning to get a new mascara since a month, because my old Maybelline one had dried up and had to be tossed out. So as I was making up my mind, my eyes flew to the Essence aisle and this mascara grabbed my attention.😍

I had recently been reading up the 7 best drugstore mascaras and seeing Essence's "I ❤ Extreme lashes" from tje list on the aisle, I decided to grab it.

Talking about the packaging, this one is the third edition ( black and pink being 1st and 2nd respectively). This is a beautiful blue and it screams girly as I ❤ Extreme lashes is written on it in bubbly pink! 👯

Opening it up to try and see,  if it lived up to the claims. I found the application brush slightly bigger than I thought it would be. But the formula itself is wet and non clingly. I wiped the excess first and then curled my lashes with it.🙈

The lashes held up beautifully, each lash strand separated and voluming out. The brush took me 2 tries to adhere to my lower lashes but it was smooth for my right eye as I grabbed the gist of it. 😉❤😘
The best part about the formula is it's non irritating, dries quickly and doesn't clump at all. I like a natural lash look but I tried layering it up on one eye to see how it looked.

Even more volume 😍

It did flake off a bit but I easily brushed it off and I don't know about the ophthalmic testing it claims. But my eyes are super sensitive and watery and it didn't make my eyes water or sting. 😊

I kept it for 5 hours and it stayed and looked pretty great. I am loving it.❤

For Rs 470 only, this is an awesome mascara and perfect for your daily wear to Uni or workplace. Or a casual girls night out or date.
